Rompiendo el silencio por el mundo
Proyecto Social
2017
The RESPEM social project is born. With the purpose of traveling to create spaces where to deliver a hopeful message to survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
We know what are the emotional and psychological consequences that a survivor who has not had the opportunity to explain and heal his story carries.
Fortunately, we also know how survivors lives change when they have the opportunity to express their truth, understand, validate and heal their experience.
This transformation not only allows a survivor to improve their own emotional and psychological well-being, but it also does so with their relationships.
A person who has freed himself from the pain that this type of abuse causes, is a person who can finally feel confident and happy with life and its environment.

Our project is based on our own experience of having lived this transformation that inspired our trip.
Did you know…
A CSA survivor is a person who physically does not present damage from the trauma. The damage occurs on an emotional and psychological level and unfortunately most of them carry this in silence.
Because as easy as it may be to say that time heals everything, unfortunately in this type of trauma it is not so.
The psychological damage intensifies over time, making the person who suffer from it have to deal with all the consequences every day. This can significantly limit or block the happiness and well-being of these people and those around them.

Hello!
We are Vannia, Miquel and Djenga. Living traveling has been a dream that we have shared and today we are making it come true.
Being Nomads allows us to know different cultures, eliminate prejudices and know reality as it is instead of imagining it.

RESPEM social project
¿What do we do?
– We travel to make visible the change that is generated in a survivor when she/he has the opportunity to express his silenced truth.
– We create spaces where survivors can talk about their experience and begin to heal their wounds
– We make others aware of the damage that ASIs leave in a person’s life
Breaking taboos
¿How do we do it?
Traveling allows us to create spaces (collective and individual) in different places. Where survivors can gather to talk about the healing of wounds through experiences that allow them to connect in a respectful environment with the pain of the past.
We also offer talks aimed at different types of public:
Young people over 16 years old.
Professionals who work with children and teenagers.
Survivors.
Companions of survivors.
You may have seen us in…

Traveling also allows us to carry out our project on a more intimate level. With each person we meet and throughout these 4 years we have made micro talks with more than 500 people who we have crossed on our route and who are interested in knowing more about our project. In this way, we can generate the visibility and awareness that this issue needs in our society.
How do we finance our project?

Accompaniment of CSA survivors
Vannia has been trained in different types of alternative therapies to facilitate and accompany people in their individual healing processes. She is also a facilitator of women’s circles.
The income from these therapies allow us to finance our trip. And also be able to offer these services for free to other people who do not have the means to access them when we manage to raise enough to finance a process.

Solidarity Music
Miquel offers to set a musical atmosphere
for any type of private or corporate event, indoors or outdoors with all the sound and lighting equipment necessary for small/medium audiences.
We adapt to the philosophy of the premises, environment and attendees to offer a careful musical selection to give a warmer and more pleasant atmosphere to your premises and customers.

Your help allows us to reach further and to more people
We feel very fortunate to receive help from people who empathize with our project and with the cause we defend.
If you also want to contribute to our project, we invite you to do so in any of the two alternatives we offer.
If you want to help a survivor to do a healing process with Vannia
